Celebrate the most glamorous race day in style, overlooking Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Ascend to Altitude on level 36 for the race that stops the nation, brimming with the finest fashion, a two-piece jazz duo, best dressed awards, and a master of ceremonies to set the scene.

Executive Sous Chef Michele Megenezzi and Head Pastry Chef Kumiko Endo will be pairing the electrifying atmosphere and sublime views with a bespoke five-course menu.

Set against the backdrop of sparkling Sydney Harbour, the Melbourne Cup will be broadcast live on premium television screens, so you won’t miss a moment!

Melbourne Cup Lunch will take place at Altitude Restaurant on Tuesday, 5th November 2024 from 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM.

Priced at AUD 195 per person for the five-course set menu seated in the main dining area and $299 per person for a five-course set menu seated at a window table.

Beverage packages are priced at:

  • Free flow of Veuve Clicquot Champagne is priced at $159 per person.
  • Free flow of premium beverage package is priced at $85 per person.
  • Free flow of Australian house sparkling wine is priced at $55 per person.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage package is priced at $50 per person.
  • A matched premium wine pairing will be priced per person on the day of dining.

Altitude’s private dining room seats a maximum of 18 guests and a minimum pre-paid deposit of AUD 4,500 is required to secure the booking. A 10% service charge will apply.

Melbourne Cup Luncheon Reservation

  • Prepayment is required to secure the table.
  • Prepayment of this event does not meet the requirements for earning SLC points.
  • Menu is subject to change due to seasonality.
  • Settlement with a card will incur a merchant fee (1.85%)

 

Group Reservation Policy

  • (Applicable for groups of 8 and more, except buyout)

  • Full prepayment is required to secure the reservations and will be subject to a 10% group service fee.
  • The prepayment will not be refundable nor transferrable under any circumstances.
  • Public Holiday reservations will incur a 15% surcharge.
  • Settlement with a card will incur a merchant fee (1.85% for all cards).

 

Cancellation + No Show policy

  • Prepayment will not be refunded or transferred for hotel credits under any circumstances.
  • In the event of a no-show or cancellation, the restaurant will automatically cancel the reservation, and prepayment will not be refunded or transferred for hotel credits under any circumstances. The venue will retain the payment permanently.
