Enter the enchanting realm of WONKA's High Tea Buffet, where culinary magic meets sweet imagination in a delightfully delectable experience crafted by the enchanting confectioners at Shangri-La Sydney.

Inspired by the extraordinary character at the centre of Roald Dahl's iconic children's book, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and the upcoming film "WONKA" (in cinemas from December 14) this whimsical experience will transport you into a magical universe where gastronomic wonders come to life.

Indulge in a symphony of flavours inspired by the wondrous story explored in “WONKA” of how the world's greatest inventor, magician, and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka. From Bubbly Brownie Surprises (double chocolate brownies with champagne truffle and candied cherries), to Nutty Bliss Delights (layered chocolate mousse cake), and Sourlicious Buttercream Swirls (irresistible cupcakes with buttercream icing), each bite is a ticket to a flavour-filled adventure.

Delight in savoury treats, including beef Wellington pockets filled with mushroom duxelles, roast beef and horseradish sandwiches, and classic rendered bacon butty and egg sandwiches with British brown sauce mayonnaise.

The grand finale features a Decorate Your Own Chocolate Bar Station, and a luscious Chocolate River (Fountain) —a sweet spectacle that promises to dazzle and amaze, just like the magic unfolding on the big screen.

Secure your tickets for the WONKA High Tea Buffet in the Grand Ballroom on 09 – 10 December, and 15 – 17 December 2023, with two seating times: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

For those looking to indulge in an evening of WONKA wonders tailored just for adults, join us for the special evening sessions of the Wonka High Tea Buffet on 09 December and 16 December from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.

Priced at AUD 84 per adult (age 12 and above) and AUD 64 per child (age 3 – 11 years old), with complimentary admission for children aged 2 and under.

The adults-only sessions are priced at AUD 99 per adult and includes a signature Shangri-La beverage on arrival.

    • Alcoholic beverages will only be available for guests aged 18+ years and guests may be required to present photo ID.
    • Any balance to be paid on the day before departure with credit card.
    • Please ensure that all diners in the group are in one transaction. Unfortunately, additional seats cannot be added on the day.
    • No candles, flowers, props or tableware will be taken after your experience ends. Charges may apply for missing items.
    • BYO is not permitted.
    • 15% Public Holiday surcharge will apply for all beverages.
    • Prepayment of this event does not meet the requirements for earning SLC points.
