Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most beautiful natural landscapes, Altitude draws on Australia’s distinct flavours and ingredients for inspiration as views of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge unfurl before you.
Altitude’s menu is created seasonally by Executive Sous Chef Michele Menegazzi and his team, with sustainability as its guiding star. Behind each, you’ll find at least one native Australian ingredient and an artisan passionate about their harvest.
Over the years, Head Sommelier Matt Herod has curated a list of Australian wines, a 500-strong library featuring small-scale, emerging producers to rare, iconic vintages.
For intimate gatherings, the restaurant’s glass jewel box of a private dining room is the most impressive in Sydney and literally ‘floats’ above the city, accommodating up to 18 guests.
Altitude won Restaurant of the Year at the Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence and the NSW Accommodation Awards for Excellence, as well as the prestigious 3 Glass Rating at Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards, 2023.
