Celebrate the New Year with the laughter of family and indulge in sumptuous gourmet buffet at Café Mix. 

Before the clock strikes twelve, wind along a line of lavish stations where every dish has been meticulously crafted to delight your tastebuds. Indulge in the freshest seafood from the very best suppliers including freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters, Balmain bugs, and wine-poached diamond clams.  

Be tempted by main courses of succulent slow-cooked pork belly, perfectly grilled barramundi, and red wine-braised beef lasagna – where every dish is a star turn. 

Delight in Asian delicacies, artisan antipasto and cheeses, rich salads, and sushi, then conclude your culinary experience with the sweetest desserts: among them baked NY blueberry cheesecake, cherry trifle cake and passionfruit tartlet.

New Year’s Eve Dinner will take place in Café Mix on level 1 of Shangri-La Sydney in two seatings, on 31st December 2024. 

First seating is from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and is priced at AUD 179 per adult and AUD 89.50 per child (age 4 to 12 old). 

Second seating is from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm and is priced at AUD 199 per adult and AUD 99.50 per child (from age 4 to 12 years old). 

Infants (0-3 years old) dine with paying adults on a complimentary basis.

Terms and Conditions

Standard Reservation

• Prepayment is required via MyGuestList to secure table reservations.
• Table allocation will be finalised on the day.
• Quality beverage packages including sparkling, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks are available to purchase on the day. Alcoholic beverages will only be available for guests aged 18+ years and guests may be required to present photo ID.
• Any balance to be paid on the day before departure with card.
• No split bill. In-house guest(s) may charge their balance to their rooms accounts if valid credit card details have been provided at check-in.
• Please ensure that all diners in the group are in one transaction.
• Unfortunately, additional seats cannot be added on the day.
• Sunday and Public Holiday will incur 15% surcharge. Any balance to be paid on the day before departure with card and settlement with card will incur merchant fee.
• Prepayment of this event does not meet the requirements for earning Shangri-La Circle points.
• Please note that the specific menu is subject to change without notice based on availability.
• BYO is not permitted
• Please note that the menu is subject to change without notice and additional drinks outside of the package are available for purchase on the day.
• No candles, flowers, props or tableware is to be taken after your experience has ended. Charges may apply for missing items.

Cancellation + No Show Policy:

• Prepayment will not be refunded in the event of a no show or cancellation.
• In the event of a no-show or cancellation, the restaurant will automatically cancel the reservation, and the prepayment will not be refunded or transferred for hotel credits under any circumstances. The venue will retain the payment permanently. 

Group Reservation Policy:
(Applicable to groups of 8 or more, except buyout)

• Full prepayment is required to secure the reservations and will be subject to a 10% group service fee.
• The prepayment will not be refundable nor transferrable under any circumstances.
• Public Holiday reservation will incur a 15% surcharge.
• Settlement with a card will incur a merchant fee (1.85% for all cards)
